Hannah divides her time between the bustling streets of London and the serene Hampshire countryside, where her creative projects come to life. A multi-talented artist, Hannah is not just a ceramist but also a fabric designer and painter. Her collaborations with Italian artisans bring her visions to life, whether she’s working on ceramic lamps and candlesticks or designing intricate fabrics. Drawing inspiration from her travels, in particular her deep connection to Africa, Hannah’s work is imbued with the vibrancy and richness of the African landscape, culture, and craft. Her treasured collection of African textiles has become an ongoing source of inspiration, influencing her design process. Cape Town, South Africa, holds a special place in her heart, and its vivid colours, dramatic landscapes, and energetic spirit have profoundly shaped her artistic style. She often captures these experiences on film, using them as a visual reference in her studio, and incorporates the bold colours and geometric patterns into her work. Aside from Africa, Hannah finds inspiration in unexpected places—particularly in nature—often incorporating these elements into her ceramics.
